THE RUNDOWN<\/strong><\/p>\n Ariana Grande posted a rare public show of support for her boyfriend, Ethan Slater<\/a>, as he finished his Off-Broadway show Marcel on the Train<\/em><\/a>\u2019s run yesterday. People<\/em><\/a> reported that Grande reposted an Instagram of his with a congratulatory message on her Instagram Story. A fan shared a screenshot<\/a> on social media of the post, which has since expired. \u201cCongratulations on a beautiful run of this very beautiful show \u2661\ud83e\udd8b<\/strong>\u2661,\u201d Grande wrote. \u201cSo very proud.\u201d<\/p>\n The singer had also \u201cliked\u201d all of Slater\u2019s posts<\/a> about the production this winter:<\/p>\n Ariana Grande\u2019s like on Ethan Slater\u2019s March 19 Instagram.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Grande and Slater have kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight. During their Wicked: For Good<\/em> press tour this past fall, they purposely avoided posing as a couple. Multiple sources told TMZ at the time<\/a> that Grande and Slater are \u201cjust private people and want the focus to be on their movie and not their private lives.\u201d<\/p>\n On September 8, a source told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> that the couple was doing well but prefer to keep their love story<\/a> out of the spotlight. \u201cAriana and Ethan are still together and very happy with each other,\u201d the insider shared. \u201cThey just enjoy keeping their private life private.\u201d<\/p>\n The source added generally that \u201cEthan and Ariana support each other no matter what.\u201d\u2060<\/p>\n Grande and Slater have been together for years, since news of their relationship first broke<\/a> in July 2023.<\/p>\n While the couple hasn\u2019t spoken much about their dynamic as a couple, Grande praised Slater\u2019s character in September 2024, telling Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a>, \u201cNo one on this earth tries harder or spreads themselves thinner to be there for the people that he loves and cares about.
