\u201cI did not, [and] they did not come up to me. They weren\u2019t doing anything,\u201d Roan said. \u201cIt\u2019s unfair for security to just assume someone doesn\u2019t have good intentions when they have no reason to believe because there\u2019s no action even taken, like, that\u2019s so not what I stand behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not hate people who are fans of my music. I do not hate children, like, that is crazy. I\u2019m sorry to that mother and child that someone was assuming something that you would do something and that if you felt uncomfortable, that makes me really sad,\u201d she continued. \u201cYou did not deserve that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following Roan\u2019s response, Cavelli recalled the incident<\/a> from her perspective and claimed the security person who spoke to her did not work at the hotel.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, 100 percent this security guard was not a security guard of the hotel \u2014 that is what I can say. He looks after artists, so I don\u2019t know if it was her personal security guard but he was with her,\u201d Cavelli said via social media. \u201cThat is all I know. Did she send him to do it? Look, I would like to hope not but at the same time, I think that you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity to make sure, I guess, that the people who work with you and act on your behalf are acting on your behalf.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cavelli also explained that she and Ada were enjoying breakfast at their hotel and they noticed someone who looked similar to Roan. Cavelli claimed her daughter \u201cdidn\u2019t approach\u201d Roan but went to see if the woman they spotted was the pop star.<\/p>\n
