A filing decision will be made before the scheduled May 4, 2026, court date.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pop star, 44, was seen in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday, according to a photo posted by social media fan page\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/britneysvault\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BritneysVault<\/a>. In <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DWPeiqqAQm-\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the photo<\/a>, Spears wears a long brown coat as she stands in line to order from Starbucks in the Malibu Country Mart.<\/p>\n<p>Spears sported black sunglasses inside the store, and wore her long blond hair down in waves. She was released the following morning.<\/p>\n<p>Her arrest came a few months after she was\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/10\/23\/celebrity-news\/video-shows-britney-spears-driving-erratically-after-night-out-as-she-spirals-over-ex-kevin-federlines-bombshell-memoir\/\">seen driving erratically<\/a>\u00a0following a night out with a friend.<\/p>\n<p>Spears\u2019 manager, Cade Hudson, called her arrest \u201cinexcusable\u201d in a statement to Page Six.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney\u2019s life,\u201d the statement read. \u201cHopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>This isn\u2019t the first time the singer\u2019s driving made headlines. In October 2025, she was seen driving erratically in her black BMW after a night out with a friend in Thousand Oaks. <span class=\"credit\">IXOLA \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Spears was dining at Thousand Oaks restaurant Red-O ahead of her driving erratically, and several people allegedly attempted to stop her from getting behind the wheel, the Daily Mail reported. <span class=\"credit\">IXOLA \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Referencing her sons, 20-year-old Sean Preston and 19-year-old Jayden James, he added, \u201cHer boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jayden\u2019s Mercedes \u2014 which Spears reportedly bought for him last year \u2014 was <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/06\/celebrity-news\/britney-spears-son-jayden-rushes-to-her-side-after-dui-arrest\/\">spotted at her house <\/a>the day after she was released from jail. A source close to the singer told Page Six that her sons were supporting her after her brush with the law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer sons are with her right now.
