Days of Our Lives <\/em>star Marissa Ryes is opening up about the reason behind her exit from the hit show.<\/p>\n In a post on Instagram, Reyes shared behind-the-scenes videos from her final day on set, writing, \u201cIn honor of my final episode of @dayspeacock<\/a> airing this week, I thought that I\u2019d share some memories from my wrap day! :\u2019)\u201d<\/p>\n She also reflected on her time with the show, writing, \u201cIt has been an absolute honor to be a part of such a legacy, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude<\/a> for what this opportunity has taught and given me.\u201d<\/p>\n Reyes clarified that the decision to leave was entirely her own. \u201cIt was my choice\u2014and mine alone\u2014to make my exit from the show,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n She concluded on an optimistic note: \u201cI will always look back on this chapter with complete and honest gratitude and affection. It\u2019s bittersweet to see the end of this chapter, but I am over the moon excited to welcome in the next.
