“Batting average. AL: Bobby Witt Jr., Royals,” Manny Randhawa shared from the MLB.com staff members polled for these predictions. “Stolen bases. Runner-up: Bobby Witt Jr.”<\/p>\n

These 57 MLB.com staff members are predicting that Witt, the superstar shortstop for the Royals, will finish the 2026 season as the AL hitter with the best batting average, and the second-most stolen bases in the conference, only behind Chandler Simpson.<\/p>\n

Witt is an incredible player, and he’s shown the ability to be a great hitter for average and a fantastic base-stealing threat in the Majors already.<\/p>\n
