What a luxury to live in a world where a new Beyonc\u00e9 album is all but guaranteed. Whether the final act of her in-progress trilogy will see the light of day this year is still unconfirmed, but signs certainly point in that direction; Renaissance<\/em><\/a> and Cowboy Carter<\/em><\/a> came out in 2022 and 2024, respectively, and Beyonc\u00e9 is one of the co-chairs<\/a> of the 2026 Met Gala. Rumors swirl of a Tina Turner-inspired hard rock record, though knowing Beyonc\u00e9, she\u2019s liable to scrap everything and start over should anyone get too close to the truth. \u2014Walden Green<\/p>\n TBA<\/p>\n Bj\u00f6rk\u2019s<\/a> 2022 album, Fossora<\/em><\/a>, delved into a fungus-formed underworld of gabber beats, honking clarinets, and mournful melodies, all wrapped in her earthiest production yet. Now, spores of new growth are appearing. This May, a Reykjav\u00edk Arts Festival exhibition from the Icelander and James Merry\u2014the visual artist who has long collaborated with and designed masks for Bj\u00f6rk\u2014will present three exhibits. Two are named after Fossora<\/em> tracks, \u201cSorrowful Soil\u201d and \u201cAncestress.\u201d The third, however, points to her next phase.
