Future Islands<\/a> are gearing up to celebrate their 20th anniversary with a new compilation album titled From a Hole in the Floor to a Fountain of Youth<\/em>, out May 22nd via 4AD. To preview the collection, which houses both familiar tunes and rarities, the act has unveiled two new songs, \u201cSail\u201d and \u201cFind Love.\u201d<\/p>\n As the press release tells it, From a Hole in the Floor to a Fountain of Youth <\/em>details the two-decade journey that Future Islands have embarked upon over two LPs. In addition to the pair of new tracks, the release includes an eclectic mix of \u201calternate hits, rarities, and fan favorites,\u201d many of which have never before been available on streaming platforms.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve always loved the imagery of that lyric,\u201d said bassist William Cashion, who selected the title and first gathered the crop of songs. \u201cThe hole in the floor is the everyday, but the fountain is the magic that happens when the life you dreamed about actually becomes the one you\u2019re living.
