On March 24, BH Entertainment announced the news, stating, \u201cWe have officially signed singer and actress Kim Se Jeong, who boasts outstanding musicality and a wide acting spectrum.\u201d<\/p>\n

A representative from BH Entertainment said, \u201cKim Se Jeong is an artist and actress who, on the foundation of her bright and wholesome energy, has shown diverse charms as she moves between music and acting. Kim Se Jeong is leaving her longtime agency Jellyfish Entertainment after 10 years.<\/p>\n

On March 23, Jellyfish Entertainment released the following announcement on their social media accounts.<\/p>\n

Earlier on March 19, a media outlet reported that Kim Se Jeong signed an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment. The agency has yet to confirm the report.<\/p>\n

Kim Se Jeong, who first entered the spotlight as a Jellyfish Entertainment trainee on the Mnet audition show \u201cProduce 101\u201d in 2016, made her debut as a member of the project group\u00a0I.O.I<\/a>\u00a0that same year. She later went on to debut as a member of the girl group\u00a0gugudan<\/a>\u00a0before eventually pursuing a solo career and has, in recent years, been focusing more on acting.<\/p>\n
