Florida’s Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival returns to the Sunshine Grove; acts included T-Pain, The Lumineers, GRiZ, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and FISHER.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival’s<\/a> portal opened Thursday, with Okee’s vibing to performances under oak canopies including Big Wild<\/a>, Dirty Heads<\/a> and Cage the Elephant<\/a> on its first day.\u00a0<\/p>\n The festival, in its 10th year since its inception, returned after taking a break in 2023 \u2014 bringing thousands of festival goers to the 800-acre Sunshine Grove<\/a>.<\/p>\n Throughout the festival, attendees could engage in restorative yoga, including goat yoga; a 5K; sound bath experiences; and rest and relaxation under oak hammocks in the Tea Lounge.<\/p>\n Friday included over 30 performances across seven stages including Japanese Breakfast<\/a>, Rainbow Kitten Surprise<\/a>, Tallahassee\u2019s T-Pain<\/a> and GRiZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rainbow Kitten Surprise took the stage after sunset, performing favorites including \u201cOur Song\u201d, \u201cFree\u201d and \u201cIt\u2019s Called: Freefall.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Six-time Grammy Award-winning artist T-Pain brought a high-energy set performing a huge catalog of songs including \u201cI\u2019m Sprung\u201d, \u201cBartender\u201d and \u201cBuy U a Drank.\u201d The Tallahassee native kept the crowd moving with his signature dance moves. Move over Taylor Swift!<\/p>\n GRiZ performed a second time Saturday evening as the sun set behind pine and palmetto trees with a sunset \u201cChasing the Golden Hour\u201d set at the BE stage, followed by rapper BigXthaPlug hailing from Dallas, Texas, with hits including \u201cTexas\u201d and \u201cLevels,\u201d captivating a massive crowd.\u00a0<\/p>\n The rapper performed some of his newest country hits that feature artists including Ella Langley and Bailey Zimmerman, both of whom were not in attendance.\u00a0<\/p>\n LCD Soundsystem<\/a>, got funky with their dance post-punk set, bringing together multi-generational music lovers with dynamic songs \u201ctonite (electric lady sessions)\u201d and \u201cTribulations\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n After fueling up on coffee, festival-goers crowded the BE stage once more for Australian DJ, FISHER<\/a>, who took the stage at midnight for an electric set performing \u2018Losing It\u2019, which earned him his first Grammy nomination in 2019 in the category for the best dance recording.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sunday featured over 30 artists spanning seven stages including Penelope Road, Big Boi, Flipturn, Young The Giant and The Lumineers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
