After establishing himself as both a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/bigxthaplug-rap-success-country-music-whats-next-1235524298\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rap and country powerhouse<\/a> out of Dallas, he is using his platform to build up artists from the South. He\u2019s assembled lyrical rappers and freestyle specialists from across Texas \u2014 including Ro$ama, Yung Hood, MurdaGang PB, KaineMusic, and KevanGotBandz \u2014 to form a close-knit collective with a unified goal: bringing their dreams to life, creating culture, and spotlighting the next wave of stars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBigX sees himself as the starting quarterback of his small but mighty unit, exposing them to his fans through song collaborations and adding them on his tours. \u201cI feel like with me being a good CEO, I can help Ro, Hood, Kaine, and PB to be able to take care of their people,\u201d he says. \u201cI done helped myself in order for me to help my people, and now my people are blessing other people. I\u2019m doing the same thing with my artists; I\u2019m blessing my artists. Once they get what they get, they\u2019re going to bless their people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBigX is serious about seeing his artists win, tapping into their movements early before officially signing them. Just look at his closest collaborator, Ro$ama, who has worked with BigX on numerous records, establishing their back-and-forth chemistry on tracks like \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/rap\/\" id=\"auto-tag_rap\" data-tag=\"rap\">Rap<\/a> N****s\u201d and \u201c\u201802 Lakers.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s not just my race, it\u2019s<em> <\/em>our race,\u201d BigX says. \u201cI would have rather signed him than let him go get messed up by a major label.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe stories of how he recruited the rest of the artists on 600 show exactly how he\u2019s carried out that approach. He met Yung Hood at a studio in Arlington, where the newcomer freestyled in front of him and impressed him with his work ethic. \u201cHood is one of the few people I actually know who can <em>rap<\/em>,\u201d BigX says. \u201cHood can rap. BigX says PB had \u201cshit going on in the streets\u201d that he steered clear of, even though they \u201cfucked with each other.\u201d But BigX still wanted to give him a real chance at rap stardom. \u201cI seen somebody who wanted to get out of his situation, and so I just wanted to help him,\u201d BigX says. \u201cI brought him with me; he went everywhere I went. I paid for all that. He gave me a reason to give him a deal. All the recording trips, the performing [at shows], he went on tour with me. After that, it was a given.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAfter jumping on a remix of KevanGotBandz\u2019 2023 song \u201cSwitcharoo 2\u201d with Oak Cliff rapper Trapboy Freddy, BigX wondered why Kevan hadn\u2019t blown up yet. The two artists had mutual respect for their shared spirit of independent hustle. A year later, KaineMusic did a \u201cMeet the 6ixers\u201d freestyle that went viral on the Dallas rap blog Spade TV. She was getting noticed in Dallas <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/hip-hop\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hip-hop\" data-tag=\"hip-hop\">hip-hop<\/a> for her freestyles and cyphers, standing out in a male-dominated industry as a woman with the hardest bars. But her \u201cMeet the 6ixers\u201d freestyle, which has since amassed 1 million views on TikTok, was the clip that caught BigX\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tKaineMusic was determined to be the first lady of 600 Entertainment. After an unanswered DM asking whether he needed any female artists on his label, she recalls seeing BigX at the same clubs and events where she was performing. Eventually, she introduced herself enough times that they became acquainted. In one instance, BigX\u2019s DJ, DJ Bubba, was hosting his Free Juice showcase at SXSW 2025. Kaine, who was part of the showcase, remembers how nervous she was performing a four-song set to a packed crowd, with the 600 crew watching from near the stage. \u201cI come to find out [BigX\u2019s] A&amp;R was there, and I was the only person his A&amp;R recorded,\u201d she says. \u201cHe recorded me, and he recorded Ro$ama\u2019s set. I\u2019m like, \u2018I don\u2019t know what to do. I don\u2019t know what\u2019s different.\u2019 I was so stressed that night. And then a couple of days later, I went to the studio, and I recorded \u2018Meet the 6ixers\u2019 and posted it, and it just went crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tAfter that freestyle went viral, BigX first brought out KaineMusic at Morgan Wallen\u2019s Sand in My Boots festival in 2025 to a positive response.
