The Claypool Lennon Delirium<\/a> have unveiled the song \u201cMeat Machines\u201d as the latest single from their upcoming album, The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy<\/em><\/a>, set to arrive on May 1st.<\/p>\n The duo of Les Claypool<\/a> and Sean Ono Lennon<\/a> take things in a more melodic direction on this tune, with Lennon\u2019s lead vocals evoking those of his late father, the iconic John Lennon, and giving the song a bit of a Beatles vibe, albeit with Claypool\u2019s distinct bass playing.<\/p>\n Get Claypool Gold Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cSome people think humans are just biological machines,\u201d stated Lennon of the new single. \u201cThey think free will is a hallucination and we\u2019re destined to be replaced by robots. Not only are they happy about this, but they\u2019re actively trying to make it happen as fast as possible. Some of us think we still have a choice. We think there\u2019s something special about living, breathing and feeling.
