BRATTLEBORO \u2014 After presenting to full houses in Burlington, Middlebury, Rutland, and Providence, Rhode Island, Arc Benders Circus Opera brings its circus-infused interpretation of Mozart\u2019s beloved \u201cThe Magic Flute\u201d to the New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro. This innovative production features a lineup of talent that includes Eric Thomas conducting the Keene Chamber Players, acrobat Eliana Perlmutter, tenor Charles Calotta, pianist Ivan Tan, and soprano-aerialist Elizabeth Wohl.<\/p>\n

Calotta joins the company for the first time. The South Florida Classical Review has called him “a lyric tenor both strong and sweet.” Wohl is known for her mesmerizing aerial performances and agile soprano voice. Elsie Smith, NECCA\u2019s co-founder has called Wohl\u2019s work \u201can incredible display of vocal control, physicality and aerial grace.\u201d<\/p>\n
