\n\tCBS<\/a> Media Ventures has lined up its syndication slate for the 2026-27 season, which includes the renewal of several long-running shows.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe network\u2019s syndication arm has picked up new seasons of Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em> and Inside Edition<\/a><\/em> \u2014\u00a0both of which have been around since the 1980s \u2014 and veteran courtroom show Hot Bench<\/em>. Game shows Flip Side<\/em> and The Perfect Line<\/em> will also return in 2026-27. The renewed series join The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em>, which CBS Media Ventures also distributes and which scored a two-season pickup<\/a> earlier this month. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe renewals shore up a syndication business that has seen a few high-profile cancellations recently. Daytime talkers The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/a>, Sherri<\/a>, Karamo<\/em> and The Steve Wilkos Show<\/em> and long-running newsmagazine Access Hollywood<\/em> are all ending after this season \u2014 the latter three after NBCUniversal decided to shut down production<\/a> of first-run syndicated shows.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlong with the returning series, CBS Media Ventures will add a court show called Adam\u2019s Law<\/em> to its slate for next season. The show stars Adam Levy, a former district attorney in Putnam County, New York, and the son of Judge Judy Sheindlin (who\u2019s an executive producer of the series). <\/p>\n

\n\tCBS Media Ventures is also taking on syndicated distribution of America\u2019s Funniest Home Videos and the video-clip show American Mayhem. The company will continue distributing game show stalwarts Jeopardy!<\/em> and Wheel of Fortune<\/em> in the U.S. through the 2027-28 season as part of a legal settlement<\/a> with producer Sony Pictures TV; after that, Sony will take on distribution as well as production.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
