HGTV fans can\u2019t get enough of Ty Pennington<\/a>\u2018s take on a recent social media trend.<\/p>\n The Rock the Block<\/a> host is the latest celebrity to share some of their best \u201990s throwback photos<\/a> online. \u201cTy, what were you like in the 90\u2019s?\u201d he captioned a Monday, March 23, Instagram video<\/a>. Rather than show photos of his former self, Pennington flipped the script by sharing snaps of the late actor and comedian Jim Varney<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cSo funny!! Really need some laughs these days!\u201d one user commented underneath the post. Another added, \u201cWait a minute!!!!!!<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n .\u201d Someone else shared, \u201cGood one but seriously you were\/are way better looking<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n . What followed were several photos of a young Pennington as a model posing for photo shoots, as well as personal pics of himself hanging with friends and family.<\/p>\n Fans and celebrities gushed over Pennington\u2019s actual \u201990s photos in the post\u2019s comments. \u201cOkaaaay, Ty! *2 snaps*<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd\ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n \ufffd\ufffd<\/p>\n ,\u201d wrote Bargain Block<\/a>\u2018s Shea Hicks-Whitfield<\/a>. He appeared on the show\u2019s first four seasons from 2000 to 2003 and returned for TLC\u2019s rebooted version, which premiered in 2018.<\/p>\n He has gone on to host several home renovation and design shows over the years, including Extreme Makeover: Home Edition<\/a>, On the Menu, American Diner Revival, Ty Breaker<\/a>, and Battle on the Beach.<\/p>\n Pennington will return to host Season 7<\/a> of HGTV\u2019s Rock the Block next month.
