\n\tCBS<\/a> Media Ventures has announced its syndication slate for the 2026-2027 broadcast season, which includes eight renewals and three new titles.<\/p>\n \n\tThe returning programs include \u201cEntertainment Tonight,\u201d which has been renewed for its 46th season just as NBCUniversal has pulled the plug on its chief competitor, \u201cAccess Hollywood,\u201d as part of that company\u2019s decision to get out of the first-run business.<\/p>\n \n\tIn comparison, CBS Media Ventures sent a message Wednesday that it\u2019s still in the syndication game, ordering the new legal series \u201cAdam\u2019s Law,\u201d starring Judge Adam Levy. That show is produced by Judge Judy Sheindlin (who is Levy\u2019s mother). This deal is notable as Sheindlin ended \u201cJudge Judy\u201d in 2021 in a bit of an acrimonious split with the Eye, and launched a new show at Amazon. (CBS Media Ventures continues to distribute repeats of \u201cJudge Judy,\u201d while it also still produces and distributes \u201cHot Bench,\u201d which Sheindlin created.)<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAdam\u2019s Law\u201d is one of two new series set to be distribbed by CBS Media Ventures, along with \u201cAmerican Mayhem,\u201d described as \u201chigh-energy extreme video programming.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cAmerican Mayhem\u201d is produced by V10 Entertainment, which also produces ABC\u2019s \u201cAmerica\u2019s Funniest Home Videos.\u201d CBS Media Ventures has now secured the rights to distribute off-net episodes of the Alfonso Ribiero era of \u201cAFV,\u201d which was listed among CBS Media Ventures\u2019 fall slate.<\/p>\n \n\tMeanwhile, besides \u201cEntertainment Tonight,\u201d which continues to be hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, CBS Media Ventures also renewed the daily newsmagazine \u201cInside Edition,\u201d hosted by Eva Pilgrim<\/a>, for Season 39.<\/p>\n \n\tOn the game show front, the Jaleel White-hosted \u201cFlip Side<\/a>\u201d will be back for Season 3, while newcomer \u201cThe Perfect Line,\u201d hosted by Deborah Norville<\/a>, is back for Season 2.<\/p>\n \n\tAs previously announced, daytime talker \u201cThe Drew Barrymore Show\u201d was recently renewed <\/a>for two seasons.
