A new music festival<\/a> is coming to the downtown West Palm Beach waterfront<\/a>, this one bringing country tunes just before the official start of the sweltering South Florida summer.<\/p>\n\n

Country music superstar Alan Jackson<\/a> is organizing a new country-themed music festival<\/a> that will launch in West Palm Beach in June.<\/p>\n

Alan Jackson\u2019s 5 O\u2019Clock Somewhere Fest is a two-day event that will feature country stars Ella Langley and Old Dominion. Headliners also include the Coral Reefer Band, the touring and recording band of deceased singer Jimmy Buffet.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Ten musical acts in all are scheduled to play. Jackson, who has announced he will stop performing live<\/a> this summer, is not listed as a festival performer.<\/p>\n\n

The event\u2019s name is a homage to Buffet\u2019s and Jackson\u2019s 2003 hit \u201cIt\u2019s Five O\u2019Clock Somewhere<\/a>.\u201d The two stars recorded the song\u2019s music video at the Square Grouper bar in Jupiter.<\/p>\n

The festival, managed by country music promoter Peach Tree Entertainment, takes place June 12-13 on the downtown waterfront, according to the festival website<\/a>. The daily schedules have not been announced.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

General admission tickets start at $155 for one day and$199 for two days. VIP packages start at $540.<\/p>\n

Tickets go on presale 9 a.m. Thursday, March 26 and on regular sale on Friday, March 27.<\/p>\n

Since the end of SunFest<\/a> in 2024, the waterfront has seen several new festivals step into the void. Most prominent was the Palm Tree Music Festival<\/a>, an electronic dance music show that premiered in February.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
