Sarah Ferguson<\/a> has been hit with a fresh bombshell as she continues to hide away from public view. Before becoming mired in the scandal surrounding her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, she was enjoying a successful career as a bestselling romantic fiction author.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, any such return to the world of writing is a complete fantasy now, a publishing insider has warned. Talking exclusively to the Daily Express<\/a>, they reflected on the former Duchess of York’s storied literary career that has already seen her write two tell-all memoirs and issued a warning against a future memoir.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Speaking after the shocking details of her friendship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein rocked the world, the insider was clear: “I don\u2019t think any publishing house would risk it.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Sarah has published two memoirs already: My Story in 1996 and Finding Sarah in 2011.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The insider explains: “The first one examined her post-Andrew split and was viewed as quite explosive, with hints about rebellions behind the scenes and her close relationship to Diana, etc. It was a bestseller and part of the 1990s explosive memoir scene of royals \u2018revealing all\u2019. She was reportedly paid \u00a32 – 3million. “Finding Sarah was more introspective and was heavily tied to a \u2018big exclusive\u2019 with Oprah at the time. It didn\u2019t do as well commercially and was a more introspective look at her troubled childhood. She may have nothing to gain and everything to lose.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As well as her famous Budgie the Little Helicopter series, first published in 1994, Sarah has written in-depth about Queen Victoria<\/a> and published other children’s books in both the Little Red and the Genie Gems series. Largely inspired by her own family history, Sarah penned three romantic novels, Her Heart For a Compass, A Most Intriguing Lady and A Woman of Intrigue, which became instant Sunday Times bestsellers.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Talk about whether Sarah would opt to put pen to paper once again and write an explosive memoir putting her side of the Epstein scandal across hit fever pitch last year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n A source previously told the Daily Express<\/a>: “With no substantial income coming in, Sarah is now looking to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry<\/a> and is willing to pen a tell-all memoir about her time with Andrew and how she was treated by the Royal Family after their split.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “She has a lot of diaries and evidence of the backstabbing, scandals and cover-ups. For the right price, she is willing to spill everything, but she’s hoping to make enough to build a nice little nest egg for the rest of her life.
