It’s been a couple years since the late Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob officially joined the band. They released “Feel Like That<\/a>,”\u00a0which was based on an old Bradley Nowell recording. Last year, they shared “Ensenada<\/a>,” their first original single with Jakob as the frontman. Now, Sublime is announcing Until The Sun Explodes<\/em>, their first new album in 30 years.<\/p>\n The LP features H.R. of Bad Brains, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, G. Love, Skegss, and FIDLAR. The title track is out today. Jakob says:<\/p>\n The last Sublime record that will ever be made is Self-Titled<\/em>. There\u2019s no replacing history, period. Until The Sun Explodes<\/em> the album is an epilogue, and “Until The Sun Explodes” the single is the epilogue to the epilogue. It is a tribute to the expansive works of Sublime, it is an acknowledgment for all that my father has done for me my entire life, and most importantly it is a thank you.
