Matthew Macfadyen co-stars in the satirical dramedy, based on the short story by Manuel Gonzales.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Levy stars with Taylor Ortega as clumsy siblings who get tangled up in organized crime and fail upward into increasingly bigger schemes in the comedy &#8220;<strong>Big Mistakes<\/strong>&#8221; (Netflix, April 9) created by Levy and Rachel Sennot.<\/p>\n<p>The four-episode revival series &#8220;<strong>Malcolm in the Middle: Life&#8217;s Still Unfair<\/strong>&#8221; (Hulu and Disney+, April 10) reunites original cast members Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek and others.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>The Audacity<\/strong>&#8221; (AMC+, April 12), a darkly comic series set in the bubble of power and privilege in Silicon Valley created by Emmy-winning writer\/producer Jonathan Glatzer, features Billy Magnussen, Sarah Goldberg and Zach Galifianakis in its ensemble cast.<\/p>\n<p>The family comedy &#8220;<strong>Margo&#8217;s Got Money Troubles<\/strong>&#8221; (Apple TV, April 15) stars Elle Fanning as a single mom who drops out of college to raise her baby and Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman as her parents.<\/p>\n<p>Aubrey Plaza co-creates and stars in &#8220;<strong>Kevin<\/strong>&#8221; (Prime Video, April 20), an adult animated comedy about a house cat (voiced by Jason Schwartzman) who decides to try a life without people. It also features Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters and Amy Sedaris.<\/p>\n<p>Horror and comedy mingle in &#8220;<strong>Widow&#8217;s Bay<\/strong>&#8221; (Apple TV, April 29), starring Matthew Rhys as the mayor of a quaint island town off the coast of New England that is rumored to be cursed. Just as he reignites the failing tourist trade, the old legends start to repeat themselves.<\/p>\n<p>The Spanish-language eight-episode limited series &#8220;<strong>House of the Spirits<\/strong>&#8221; (Prime Video, April 29), adapted from the acclaimed novel by Isabel Allende, follows three generations of women in a conservative South American country during a period of upheaval.<\/p>\n<p>Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is the former Special Forces soldier hired to protect the young witness (Billie Boullet) to a crime in &#8220;<strong>Man on Fire<\/strong>&#8221; (Netflix, April 30), based on the novels of A.J. Quinnell.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Anticipated movies<\/h2>\n<p>Two college roommates (Gaten Matarazzo and Sean Giambrone) go on a wild ride when a simple food run is hijacked by a mind-bending experimental drug in the comedy &#8220;<strong>Pizza Movie<\/strong>&#8221; (Hulu, April 3).<\/p>\n<p>Keanu Reeves plays a Hollywood star who goes searching for a blackmailer with a video that could destroy his career in &#8220;<strong>Outcome<\/strong>&#8221; (Apple TV, April 10), a dark comedy from director and co-star Jonah Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors of a Category 5 hurricane on the Australian coast face an unexpected threat \u2014 hungry sharks swept in by the storm \u2014 in the survival thriller &#8220;<strong>Thrash<\/strong>&#8221; (Netflix, April 10), starring Phoebe Dynevor and Djimon Hounsou.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser are condom reps who land in a scandal involving the soccer World Cup in the raunchy comedy &#8220;<strong>Balls Up<\/strong>&#8221; (Prime Video, April 15) from director Peter Farrelly.<\/p>\n<p>Charlize Theron is a woman alone in the Australian wilds battling a deadly predator in &#8220;<strong>Apex<\/strong>&#8221; (Netflix, April 24), a survival thriller from director Baltasar Kormakur.
