Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> and Sheinelle Jones<\/a> kicked off the first of their two Today<\/a> With Jenna & Sheinelle shows in Jamaica<\/a> by sending love to Savannah Guthrie<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re gonna have a beautiful show. But before we get started here in Jamaica, we have to just say, we are here by the Caribbean Sea, the wind in our hair, but our hearts are also with our dearest friend, Savannah,\u201d Bush Hager stated on Thursday, March 26. \u201cShe spoke out today<\/a> to Hoda [Kotb]<\/a>, and, you know, it\u2019s hard. Life is this crazy thing of happiness and joy \u2014 we\u2019re surrounded with all of you, we\u2019re so happy you\u2019re here \u2014 and also, pain.\u201d<\/p>\n The earlier hours of Today aired the first of Savannah\u2019s two-part interview with Kotb about the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie<\/a>. Nancy was reported missing<\/a> on February 1 after last being seen at her Tucson, Arizona, home the night prior. No suspects have been named, and the Guthrie family has offered a reward<\/a> of up to $1 million for information about Nancy\u2019s location.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you love somebody the way we love our girl, you can\u2019t help but feel like she\u2019s with us,\u201d Bush Hager continued. \u201cI will say, it\u2019s hard to come to a place like this and not feel close to God, and she talked a lot about her faith. And this has been planned for months and months, and it\u2019s important that we\u2019re here, because if anyone knows the type of resilience that Savannah\u2019s fighting for every day, it is the people of Jamaica. They fight for their joy.\u201d<\/p>\n Bush Hger said it was \u201cimportant\u201d that the show celebrated Jamaica\u2019s \u201cstrength\u201d and \u201cbeauty\u201d after the country was hit hard by Hurricane Melissa in October 2025. \u201cThe strength of the people here [is] so much stronger,\u201d she declared.<\/p>\n Jones stated, \u201cIf we\u2019re gonna find a common thread, it\u2019s hope and it\u2019s resilience,\u201d to which Bush Hager added, \u201cAnd you know what else it is? It\u2019s love.\u201d<\/p>\n Thursday\u2019s episode of Jenna & Sheinelle featured segments of Bush Hager and Jones exploring local sights, trying delicious Jamaican dishes, and chatting with celebrities such as Sheryl Lee Ralph<\/a> and Shaggy<\/a>. The show will air another episode from Jamaica on Friday, March 27.<\/p>\n Both Savannah and Kotb shed several tears during their emotional conversation<\/a> aired on Today. Savannah recalled learning that her mother was missing, as well as when her brother, Camron Guthrie, suggested that Nancy was taken for ransom because of Savannah\u2019s celebrity status.<\/p>\n \u201cTo think that I brought this to her bedside, that it\u2019s because of me \u2014 and I just say, \u2018I\u2019m so sorry, Mommy. I\u2019m so sorry. I\u2019m sorry to my sister [Annie Guthrie] and my brother, and my kids and my nephew, and Tommy, my brother-in-law.\u2019 I\u2019m just, like, so sorry,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n Savannah concluded the interview segments<\/a> by stating, \u201cWhether she\u2019s on this Earth, still, or whether she\u2019s in heaven, I know where she is. I know who she\u2019s with. But we need to know.\u201d<\/p>\n The second half of Savannah and Kotb\u2019s interview will air on Friday\u2019s episode of Today.<\/p>\n
