Paul McCartney<\/a> has marked his return with details of new album \u2018The Boys Of Dungeon Lane\u2019, sharing the nostalgic lead single \u2018Days We Left Behind\u2019.<\/p>\n The Beatles<\/a> icon will release his first album since 2020\u2019s acclaimed \u2018McCartney III<\/a>\u2018 on Friday May 29 (pre-order here<\/a>), and it will see McCartney reveal memories that he\u2019s never shared before from his formative years in Liverpool as a young man and an artist entering the world of music.<\/p>\n Described as his \u201cmost introspective album to date\u201d, \u2018The Boys Of Dungeon Lane\u2019 is said to find McCartney \u201cin a candid, vulnerable and deeply reflective mood, writing with rare openness about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, the resilience of his parents, and early adventures shared with George Harrison<\/a> and John Lennon<\/a> long before the world had ever heard of Beatlemania\u201d.
