The first part<\/a> of Savannah\u2019s two-part conversation with Kotb aired on the NBC morning show\u2019s Thursday, March 26, episode. She started the discussion by revealing she and her two kids<\/a> \u2014 Vale and Charley \u2014 were at Carson Daly<\/a>\u2018s house the weekend her mother went missing, while her husband, Michael Feldman<\/a>, was enjoying a \u201cboys\u2019 trip to go golfing\u201d that she gifted him.<\/p>\n \u201cMy sister [Annie Guthrie] called me, and I said, \u2018Is everything okay?\u2019 And she said, \u2018No.\u2019 She said, \u2018Mom\u2019s missing,\u2019 Savannah recalled. \u201cAnd I said, \u2018What? What are you talking about?\u2019 She said, \u2018She\u2019s gone.\u2019 And she was in a panic. I was in a panic.\u201d (Nancy was last seen at her Tucson, Arizona, home on January 31 and was reported missing<\/a> the next day.)<\/p>\n Officials were already on the scene when Savannah\u2019s siblings called her. They initially assumed Nancy experienced a medical emergency in the night. However, the back doors were open, Nancy\u2019s personal belongings were still there, and she was not located at any local hospitals. Savannah also clarified that Nancy couldn\u2019t have just \u201cwandered off,\u201d as she was in \u201ctremendous pain,\u201d<\/a> a bad back, and could only walk down her driveway to get the mail on a \u201cgood day.\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah went on to reveal that her brother, Camron Guthrie, quickly figured out the suspected reason for Nancy\u2019s disappearance. \u201cHe said, \u2018I think she\u2019s been kidnapped for ransom.\u2019 And I said, \u2018What?\u2019 I mean, it sounds, like, how could dumb could I be? But I didn\u2019t want to believe it. I said, \u2018Do you think because of me?\u2019 And he said, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, sweetie, but yeah, maybe.’\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah said she hopes she isn\u2019t the reason for Nancy\u2019s disappearance, but that she and her family still \u201cdon\u2019t know anything\u201d about the motive. \u201cTo think that I brought this to her bedside, that it\u2019s because of me \u2014 and I just say, \u2018I\u2019m so sorry, Mommy. I\u2019m so sorry. I\u2019m sorry to my sister and my brother, and my kids and my nephew, and Tommy, my brother-in-law<\/a>.\u2019 I\u2019m just, like, so sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n
