The actor was speaking at the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026, when he was asked to comment on the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/movies\/bollywood\/story\/dhurandhar-2-the-revenge-live-updates-worldwide-box-office-collection-review-ranveer-singh-aditya-dhar-smoking-pic-massive-recordsnew-de-2887226-2026-03-26\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>massive success <\/strong><\/a>of the Aditya Dhar directorial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As reported by the news agency ANI, he said, &#8220;I believe it&#8217;s doing really well. I have not seen the film yet. But I hear only praise of the film. Dhurandhar 1 and now Dhurandhar 2. Both the films have done exceptionally well and my very best wishes to the team.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Read Full Story<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, actor-politician <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/movies\/bollywood\/story\/dhurandhar-2-is-the-picture-of-new-india-kangana-ranaut-at-iffd-2026-2887290-2026-03-26\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Kangana Ranaut also praised Dhurandhar 2 <\/strong><\/a>by calling it the &#8220;new India&#8221; during her presence at the inauguration ceremony of IFFD in Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>While speaking to the media at the film festival, Kangana highlighted the need for such platforms that showcase films like Dhurandhar. &#8220;This is the picture of new India,&#8221; she said, adding that the film reflected &#8220;culture, patriotism and modernity \u2013 the dream of a developed India.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You see the pulsating energy of a new India&#8221; in the film, she said, adding that the IFFD was a boost to showcase such films. &#8220;For this, such platforms should be there,&#8221; the actor said, according to an ANI report.<\/p>\n<p>The spy-thriller, released on March 19, has sparked widespread conversation about its theme, politics, music, performances and storytelling technique. It is headlined by Ranveer Singh, and also features Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal among others in important roles.
