Netflix<\/a> is raising its subscription prices for U.S. users yet again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The streaming service<\/a> updated its website Thursday with new pricing details<\/a> for each tier of its subscription services. Under its new pricing, Netflix\u2019s Standard With Ads plan now will cost $8.99 per month, up $1 from its previous $7.99 price.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Standard plan (no ads, viewing on up to two devices simultaneously) is rising by $2, from $17.99 per month to $19.99 per month. The Premium plan (no ads, streaming on up to four devices at once, Ultra HD and HDR) also is going up $2, from $24.99 per month to $26.99 per month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The company also raised the cost of its “extra member” fee by $1. The cost of adding an extra member on ad-supported plans previously was $6.99 and $8.99 for ad-free plans. Netflix now will charge $7.99 to add an extra member using an ad-supported plan, and $9.99 to add an extra member using an ad-free plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The updated pricing went into effect for new Netflix users on Thursday.
