RCheryl Hines<\/a> has broken her silence after comedian Chelsea Handler<\/a> claimed the Curb Your Enthusiasm<\/em><\/a> star and her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,<\/a> sold her a \u201ctoxic\u201d $6 million house.<\/p>\n Appearing on Thursday\u2019s (March 26) episode of the Tomi Lahren is Fearless<\/em><\/a> podcast, Hines reacted to Handler\u2019s claims, denying that she sold the former talk show host a \u201ctoxic\u201d house and questioning the \u201ctiming\u201d of the complaints.<\/p>\n \u201cYou have to question the timing of it, right?\u201d Hines said, per People<\/a>. \u201cBecause she bought this house five years ago, and she\u2019s just now complaining about it, which is also, I don\u2019t know that she\u2019s getting a lot of sympathy from people. She\u2019s buying a $6 million house.\u201d<\/p>\n Hines said that Handler\u2019s claims that they sold her a \u201ctoxic\u201d house \u201cdoesn\u2019t make sense.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHer story doesn\u2019t really hold water because I did write her a personal note when she moved in, just saying how much we love the house and that I hope she has a beautiful life in this house,\u201d the actress explained, adding that she left her number and told Handler if she needed anything to call her.<\/p>\n \u201cIf we were trying to unload a toxic house on her, I wouldn\u2019t have left my number,\u201d Hines stated. \u201cI think she\u2019s just trying to get attention. And it\u2019s probably fun for her to make fun of Bobby. So, what are you gonna do? She\u2019s trying to get a laugh, I guess, and some likes.\u201d<\/p>\n Handler first talked about her new home on the March 5 episode of her Dear Chelsea<\/em><\/a> podcast, where she claimed Hines and RFK. Jr left the home in a \u201ctoxic\u201d state that took her years to renovate before she could actually move in.<\/p>\n \u201cI still have not lived in this house. That\u2019s how f***** up this house was,\u201d she said in the episode, per People, noting that when the property was inspected, she was told, \u201c\u2018This house is the most toxic environment. You cannot live here for at least two years.’\u201d<\/p>\n She then revealed she\u2019d finally moved into the home after four years when appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em><\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n \u201cThere [were] a lot of problems with the house\u2026 I blame him,\u201d she told Kimmel,<\/a> referring to Trump\u2019s Health Secretary. \u201cAnd that didn\u2019t get caught during inspection. And a lot of drama with the house. But I did just move in for the first time yesterday. So, I\u2019m good.\u201d<\/p>\n
