The cost to watch “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” “Bridgerton” and “One Piece” is going up again.<\/p>\n

Netflix<\/a> adjusted its price structure on Thursday, with all subscription tiers rising at least $1.<\/p>\n

The price for extra members also went up. It will now cost $6.99 per month (previously $5.99) for each non-household member on ad-supported plans and $9.99 per month (previously $8.99) for non-household members on standard and premium plans.<\/p>\n

The changes mark Netflix’s first price hike since January 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The streaming giant has tested new ventures in 2026, including video podcasts and more live events, such as MLB’s Opening Night<\/a> between the New York Yankees<\/a> and San Francisco Giants<\/a>. The company said it will continue expanding its content output and expects to spend $20 billion on content in 2026, an increase from $18 billion last year.<\/p>\n

Netflix had more than 325 million subscribers globally<\/a> as of late 2025, making it one of the world’s biggest streaming platforms.<\/p>\n

The company was up against Warner Bros. in a showdown to acquire Paramount, but it ultimately did not match the winning $110 billion offer from Warner Bros. in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n
