Jinger Duggar<\/b> <\/a>has tried to balance her preexisting work obligations while her family grapples with brother Joseph Duggar<\/b><\/a>\u2019s arrest scandal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWork commitments still exist, and I\u2019m doing my best to honor those,\u201d Jinger, 32, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, March 27, noting that she is posting pre-scheduled footage via social media as part of her ongoing influencer brand deals. \u201cThank you for your kindness, understanding and prayers during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jinger subsequently uploaded a video from her paid partnership with protein brand FlavCity.<\/p>\n

Jinger\u2019s younger brother Joseph, 31, was arrested in Arkansas on March 18<\/a> for unlawful sexual activity with a minor after allegedly molesting a 9-year-old child in 2020. The victim, now 14, claimed that Joseph \u201ceventually apologized for his actions\u201d at the time before the incidents stopped. A police report also claimed that Joseph confessed to the minor\u2019s father as well as local detectives.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJinger Duggar has flown far from the Duggars\u2019 nest in Arkansas, but where does she stand with her family? Jinger is the sixth child of Arkansas natives Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, who famously share 19 kids in total. Jinger married Jeremy Vuolo in 2016 and moved to Laredo, Texas, where he was already [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

News broke two days later that Joseph, who is currently awaiting extradition to Florida, is facing four additional counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, second degree, and four counts of second degree false imprisonment. Joseph\u2019s wife, Kendra Duggar<\/b>, was also arrested for the same charges and released on bond that same day. (Joseph and Kendra, 27, have been married since 2017 and share four children.)<\/p>\n

Jinger is among Joseph\u2019s siblings and cousins who have spoken out<\/span><\/a>, condemning his alleged actions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, it has been such a long week,\u201d Jinger said on the Wednesday, March 25, episode<\/span><\/a> of her and husband Jeremy Vuolo<\/b>\u2019s podcast. \u201cIt\u2019s been one of those weeks that feels like years. And I did not think my heart could break like it has this week. The pain and heartbreak that we\u2019ve had over this and just thinking of how it\u2019s affected so many, yeah, it\u2019s just unthinkable. So hard and painful on many levels.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vuolo, 38, added that he and Jinger were \u201ctaking a bit of space this week\u201d to process the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cThinking about the victim who was brave enough to share her story has been heartbreaking,\u201d Vuolo said. \u201cJust the effect on that young person\u2019s life is unimaginable. And then to see the ripple effect of that horrific crime across the board \u2026 I think that\u2019s been for me, the forefront of my mind is just thinking [about] the horror of a crime like that affecting so many for so many years. It\u2019s devastating to think about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vuolo and Jinger further offered their prayers to the alleged victim and \u201cfor all of those affected.\u201d<\/p>\n
