Kimmel then played a montage of clips from Fox News and Newsmax in which various hosts and pundits questioned Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s experience based on her prior job as a bartender. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cShe has no idea where Venezuela is on a map, because they don\u2019t teach geography i<\/span>n bartending school,\u201d right-wing pundit Benny Johnson said on Fox News in one of the clips. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cThe congresswoman is kinda like Vice President Kamala Harris but with more bartending experience,\u201d Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) said on Fox News in another clip. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWell, on behalf of bartenders everywhere,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cWe anxiously await your apology. You do the bartenders. I\u2019ll do the plumbers.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During Tuesday night\u2019s show, Kimmel joked about the former career of the new head of the Department of Homeland Security: \u201cWe have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
