In his forthcoming book, Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family, extracts of which have been serialised by The Times Magazine, Tom Bower makes a number of accusations against the Sussexes, their relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Invictus Games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The author alleges that Meghan issued a furious 11-word remark to Prince William<\/a> during a reconciliation meeting between the two and their partners after the Sussexes\u2019 honeymoon in 2018 and that Queen Camilla had told a friend that the Duchess had \u201cbrainwashed Harry\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But now a royal expert has claimed that the statement\u2019s emotional element came from Harry\u2019s deep desire to \u201cprotect\u201d his wife from the allegations against her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ingrid Seward told New! Magazine: \u201cHarry doesn’t believe in just allowing things to calm down – he is very protective of Meghan and obviously extremely annoyed and angry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe Royal Family probably do blame Meghan for everything that’s happened, and she may have told him to do something.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
