Doja Cat<\/a>\u2019s father has publicly addressed<\/a> the status of his relationship with his daughter, arguing that she has been \u201cbrainwashed\u201d by her mother.<\/p>\n In videos seemingly first shared to Instagram<\/a> but later removed, as noted by<\/a> TMZ, Doja\u2019s father, actor and dancer Dumisani Dlamini, appeared to respond to the Vie<\/em><\/a> artist\u2019s recent claim<\/a> of having difficulty connecting with him while her world tour was in South Africa.<\/p>\n As Dlamini sees it, he\u2019s \u201cworked so hard\u201d to build his name and reputation. He cited his work in the 1992 film Sarafina!<\/em> as an example, ultimately alleging that the characterization of him as \u201cnot a good man\u201d isn\u2019t accurate.<\/p>\n \u201cToday, I want to tell the world that I’m not gonna be used by a white woman with three kids that I was feeding those kids with the money of Sarafina!<\/em>,\u201d Dlamini said, as seen below. \u201cAnd my name and my reputation as a good man, I love my kids. I took care of her kids, [Doja\u2019s mother] Deborah [Sawyer]. Three kids, white kids, they hated me. And on top of that, I spoke to Deborah that I would love you to come home, and she came home. Please don’t hate my baby.\u201d<\/p>\n As reported last week, Doja told fans she trolled her father by sending him a gay p**n link<\/a> in lieu of a ticket to a Tour Ma Vie<\/a> show. As the Grammy<\/a> winner explained at the time, she had been speaking with her father over text but had been told that he \u201ccouldn\u2019t make it to my show because I don\u2019t message him enough and I didn\u2019t call him on WhatsApp.\u201d<\/p>\n Doja added that her father had told her he was \u201cvery busy\u201d and would relay the trollingly delivered link to his management team.<\/p>\n \u201cHe said, \u2018Darling, what is this?
