Amy Duggar King<\/a> <\/b>has been trying to make sense of the news that her cousin Joseph Duggar <\/b><\/a>was arrested for alleged child abuse.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cHey TikTok, it\u2019s been a minute. I\u2019ve taken a minute from videos and whatnot because I literally don\u2019t even know what to say,\u201d Amy, 39, said in a TikTok<\/span><\/a> video shared Thursday, March 26, \u201cI feel emotionally exhausted from all of this. It\u2019s not about me, I know it\u2019s not \u2026 but my heart hurts. I know I\u2019m not the only one.\u201d<\/p>\n Joseph, 31, was arrested on March 18<\/span><\/a> for unlawful sexual activity with a minor after being accused of molesting a 9-year-old child in Florida in 2020. The victim, now 14, claimed in a police statement that the Counting On<\/i> alum \u201ceventually apologized for his actions and the incidents stopped.\u201d The police report further claimed that Joseph admitted his alleged actions to the victim\u2019s father at the time.<\/p>\n Two days later, news broke that Joseph is also facing four counts<\/span><\/a> of endangering the welfare of a minor, second degree and four counts of second degree false imprisonment. Joseph\u2019s wife, Kendra Duggar<\/b>, was arrested on the same charges<\/span><\/a> and released within hours on bond.<\/p>\n Joseph, for his part, is currently awaiting extradition to Florida.<\/p>\n \u201cJoe was the last person that I expected,\u201d Amy said in her Thursday social media video. \u201cWe\u2019re all wanting answers right now. \u2026 He\u2019s behind bars tonight. I cannot comprehend that.\u201d<\/p>\n Joseph is being held in solitary confinement at the Washington County Detention Facility in Arkansas.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been spending a lot of time reading, uh, reading the Bible, they got me a Bible in here,\u201d he told Kendra during a phone call obtained by People<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>earlier this week. \u201cI\u2019m in solitary. [I\u2019m in a] pretty small area, but I\u2019ve been able to read a lot actually, and resting some, but I\u2019m not sleeping great through the night.\u201d<\/p>\n Joes arrest. <\/p>\n\n
