Teen Mom <\/i>alum Jenelle Evans<\/b><\/span><\/a> <\/b>says that she is focused on her children<\/a> amid her ongoing extended family drama.<\/p>\n

\u201cI shouldn\u2019t even be getting on here to say anything, but I feel like I have to,\u201d Evans, 34, said in a TikTok<\/span><\/a> video posted Saturday, March 28. \u201cI feel like at this moment it is imperative for my family to have their privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Evans acknowledged that a variety of online rumors have recently claimed that she is \u201cthe villain\u201d regarding Jace\u2019s care, which she debunked in her social media upload.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m such an easy target, [but] in actuality, behind the scenes, I am doing everything that I can for my child,\u201d Evans said, referring to 16-year-old son Jace whom she shares with ex Andrew Lewis<\/b>. \u201cI am doing what\u2019s in the best interests for him and that\u2019s none of your business to know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBarbara Evans is addressing a court\u2019s decision to deny her emergency custody over her daughter Jenelle Evans\u2019 16-year-old son, Jace. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter that it was denied, because I\u2019m going to court on March 23rd for a temporary custody hearing,\u201d Barbara told TMZ on Monday, March 16. \u201cThe evidence will be presented then.\u201d Barbara went [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

News broke earlier this month that Jenelle\u2019s mother, Barbara Evans<\/b>, filed for emergency custody of Jace after the teen allegedly pulled a gun<\/span><\/a> on his relatives in February. (Jace was living with Barbara in North Carolina<\/a> at the time, while Jenelle is based in Las Vegas with her younger two children.)<\/p>\n

Barbara\u2019s motion, however, was ultimately denied<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

While addressing the speculation over her family, Janelle denied that she was \u201cdoing nothing\u201d or didn\u2019t care about Jace\u2019s welfare..<\/p>\n

\u201cOne thing I will do is put my whole life on pause for my kids, especially if something is going on,\u201d Jenelle stated on Saturday. \u201cIf you\u2019re wondering where my podcast is, it\u2019s on pause, and it\u2019s on pause for a good, legit reason.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI will say [that] every decision I make as a mother is for a reason \u2014 and it\u2019s for a good reason. So, just know maybe one day we can share this story and it\u2019ll be a redemption story and a positive one but, at the moment, it\u2019s not the time for that. So with all due respect, including my family, please, just back off a little bit, please? Let us breathe.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Jenelle prioritizes her children, she has taken a step back from posting on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people are, like, \u2018Why are you acting so happy?\u2019 In actuality, I\u2019m not going to sit here and just cry on TikTok all the time but I have my days [where] I\u2019ve been crying,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve been crying for days, for weeks, on and off, honestly, about a bunch of different situations. I haven\u2019t been posting as much and it\u2019s really hard for me to post at the moment because I\u2019m just focusing so much on my children that it\u2019s not the time and place to be online.\u201d<\/p>\n
