He appeared in court on Friday, March 27, and the judge set his bond at $200,000. The Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department (PCSD) confirmed that Reynolds was fired after his arrest.<\/p>\n<div class=\"piano-in-article\">\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During the March 27 hearing, the state alleged that Reynolds was on duty and transporting a woman to the Pima County Jail when the incident happened. He allegedly called her \u201chot,\u201d and after they shared a vape pen while she was in handcuffs, he allegedly told the woman that he \u201ccould help with her case.\u201d Additionally, Reynolds allegedly \u201cexplained he would not go to court. He also stated they could go to a hotel and have sex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The complaint claimed that Reynolds also showed her \u201csexually explicit videos\u201d \u2014 and when she asked to be taken inside the jail, he allegedly refused. According to the complaint, the victim said that she \u201chad never been arrested before and did not know the procedural steps, and was unsure what was taking so long.\u201d She also said that she \u201csaw multiple officers coming and going with their arrestees, and she was wondering why she was still in the vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pima County deputy fired after kidnapping arrest\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qx4Ew4Fe3EU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Eventually, the victim said Reynolds got her out of the vehicle and told her to show him her breasts. She reportedly lifted her shirt to show her bra, at which point Reynolds \u201cremoved her from the vehicle and brought her inside the jail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, video surveillance from the Pima County Jail confirmed parts of the victim\u2019s account. Reynolds stated that he may or may not have\u201d talked about having sex with the woman and showed her the \u201csexually explicit\u201d videos. His next court date is on April 6.<\/p>\n<p>Reynolds\u2019 arrest came as the PCSD and the FBI continue their search for Nancy, 84, after she was abducted from her Tucson home on February 1.
