[WARGASM, SOUTH ARCADE]<\/strong>.<\/p>\nSpeaking about their journey into the new EP, vocalist Mae Seaton<\/strong> says, \u201cthe last year has been about getting out there and pushing ourselves \u2013 playing as much as we can, meeting people, and feeling that connection in real time. We\u2019ve played 54 shows over the last year, and that\u2019s completely changed our perspective. This project started with two people and a laptop, so being in those rooms night after night has forced us out of our own heads, stripped something back, and let the songs take on a different weight once they\u2019re shared with other people.<\/em><\/p>\nThis EP is about taking our personal experiences and opening them up in a way that other people can identify with. Our prior writing was very focused on the self; SADWORLD<\/strong> is more of a reflection on the impact of the world in its current state, and on the community.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nGuitarist\/vocalist George Donoghue<\/strong> adds that Paranoia<\/strong>\u00a0was written backwards, built from its final lyric \u2013 \u201cDon\u2019t try to save me, just pull the cord\u201d \u2013 <\/em>forming the EP\u2019s emotional and conceptual entry point.<\/p>\nWatch the official music video for Paranoia here:<\/strong><\/p>\n
