Usher<\/a> is clearing up any rumors surrounding recent reports that he and Justin Bieber<\/a> got into an altercation after the Oscars, at least according to Da Brat<\/a>.<\/p>\n During a new episode of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show<\/em>, Da Brat said that she and Usher had spoken about the alleged incident. Last week, reports claimed that the altercation between Usher and Bieber was physical<\/a>, while insiders close to Bieber said there was \u201cno physical contact,\u201d though the conversation was \u201cintense.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI spoke to Usher, and he said, \u2018This is an exaggeration of the conversation,\u2019\u201d Da Brat said. \u201cHe’s been nothing but supportive of plenty of issues that Justin Bieber has had throughout the years.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJustin is on his own journey, dealing with his own reality that he’s created. But I’m letting you know that everything is okay between them, and there’s no hostility.\u201d<\/p>\n Days after the Oscars, reports surfaced that Usher and Bieber got into a \u201cheated exchange\u201d at Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z\u2019s Oscars after-party. According to<\/a> TMZ, Bieber has been trying to cut off everyone from his past, including Usher, with a source telling the outlet that the younger singer has \u201calways been rude to Usher.\u201d<\/p>\n Usher served as Justin\u2019s mentor during the early days of his career. But over the years, the two have rarely been spotted together.
