The rapper-producer\u2019s new track, \u201c<strong>Father<\/strong>,\u201d is a stripped-back bassy <strong>production<\/strong> that could be seen as a <strong>pivot<\/strong> to a different genre, but it still <strong>doesn\u2019t<\/strong> quite land.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each verse is built as a self aggrandising statement, and at times stylistically catches for a touchdown. However, lyrically, it\u2019s shallow, like in verse one: \u201cBut I\u2019m back to life like an Epi-Pen\u201d. Travis Scott\u2019s efforts are equally average, though the production is marginally better.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Featuring a music video with wild symbolism, it\u2019s directed by the artist\u2019s wife, <strong>Bianca Censori<\/strong>.
