Robert De Niro<\/a> called out Donald Trump<\/a> for being an \u201cexistential threat to our freedoms and security\u201d on Saturday before he joined an estimated nine million people at \u201cNo Kings\u201d protests<\/a> against the president and his administration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cHe must be stopped and he must be stopped now!\u201d stressed the actor, a staunch<\/a> Trump<\/a> critic<\/a> who has thrown his support behind the demonstrations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt\u2019s time to say no to kings. It\u2019s time to say no to Donald Trump, we\u2019ve had enough!\u201d he said during a press conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n De Niro \u2014 just over a month after his emotional plea<\/a> for Americans to resist the president \u2014 went on to decry Trump\u2019s \u201cunnecessary\u201d Iran war before describing him as a \u201ccorrupt leader enriching himself\u201d and his \u201cEpstein class buddies.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cNo taking health care from our most vulnerable neighbors, no unaffordable groceries, no unaffordable energy, no unaffordable housing and no inflation at it\u2019s highest level since COVID. No government masked thugs shooting down our neighbors in the streets,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He proceeded to take on \u201call the fucked up things\u201d Trump has done \u201cwithout the collusion of Congress and the goons in his administration,\u201d adding that GOP officials are bound to him in fear of losing their jobs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n De Niro was later spotted<\/a> leading a march alongside Rev. Al Sharpton, New York Attorney General Letitia James, Padma Lakshmi and others protesting against the president in New York City.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In Washington, D.C., and St. Paul, Minnesota, music legends Joan Baez and Bruce Springsteen, respectively, performed for massive crowds<\/a> as protesters called for a U.S. \u201cregime change\u201d as well as the arrests of Trump and members of his Cabinet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
