\n <\/p>\nBlizzard Entertainment<\/strong> (President Johanna Faries) and NEXON <\/strong>(Daehyun Kang and Jungwook Kim, Co-CEOs of NEXON Korea) announced on March 29 PDT\/March 30 KST that they have entered into a partnership agreement to publish Overwatch <\/em>on PC in Korea, with operations aimed to begin later this year.<\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\nFirst released in 2016, Overwatch<\/em> is one of Blizzard\u2019s flagship franchises, widely recognized for its diverse roster of heroes and fast-paced, strategic gameplay. In February, Blizzard unveiled a new era for Overwatch<\/em> during the Overwatch<\/em> Spotlight<\/em> showcase, launching a year-long narrative and five new Heroes, with five more to be released throughout 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\nUnder the partnership, NEXON will publish Overwatch<\/em> on PC in Korea within this year, handling live service and business operations tailored to the Korean market, while Blizzard will provide the Overwatch<\/em> IP and continue to lead overall game development. Working closely together, the two companies plan to deliver hyper-localized content and expand the IGR ecosystem to further strengthen Overwatch<\/em>\u2019s presence in Korea.
