Olivia Munn on ‘CBS Sunday Morning’; John Mulaney and Olivia Munn Olivia Munn reflected on what she learned after being \u201cfaced with the possibility of death and not being here\u201d during her journey with breast cancer<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The actress revealed that she was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in March 2024, despite having had \u201cno symptoms\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Munn also opened up about how her husband, John Mulaney, stuck by her side during \u201cevery single doctor’s appointment\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Olivia Munn<\/a> is cherishing the \u201clittle moments\u201d following her breast cancer diagnosis<\/a>.<\/p>\n During a March 29 appearance on CBS News Sunday Morning<\/em><\/a>, the 45-year-old actress said that, once she was \u201cfaced with the possibility of death and not being here\u201d amid her cancer journey, all she wanted to do was focus on the \u201clittle moments\u201d with her husband, John Mulaney<\/a>, and their two kids, Malcolm and M\u00e9i<\/a>.<\/p>\n “It’s not the Christmases and the birthdays and the New Years that we remember,\u201d Munn told the outlet. \u201cLife happens on a Tuesday. Like, it just happens. And you cannot expect it. And so every day, you should just be so present and grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n The Predator<\/em> actress revealed in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer after tests revealed she had luminal B, a fast-moving, aggressive cancer,\u00a0in both breasts \u2014 despite having had \u201cno symptoms\u201d and a \u201cclear mammogram.\u201d<\/p>\n Olivia Munn announces cancer diagnosis Munn, who went on to undergo five surgeries \u2014 including a lymph node dissection, a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy \u2014 told CBS News Sunday Morning<\/em> that Mulaney, 43, played a huge role in helping her through the difficult times.<\/p>\n “There’s no better person in the world to me than my husband,\u201d she said of the comedian. \u201cHe is \u2014 I mean, you’ve met him.
