Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor would be forced to bow to his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, when they meet, a royal expert has claimed. Royal biographer Robert Hardman claimed royal protocol requires disgraced Andrew to bow to his daughters, who have retained their royal status.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Mr Hardman said the new rule would “rile” the 66-year-old. He said: \u201cAndrew<\/a> stands on ceremony; titles, the lot\u2014it’s all vital to him, that rigid bowing and curtseying business. \u201cThis’ll rile him proper: bowing to his daughters.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He told the Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential podcast, Andrew \u201cwill have to bow to everybody\u2014assuming he’s in the room with the family.\u201d He added: \u201cNo, I don’t think he’ll take it well. It’s a rare modern twist, experts note, unprecedented since titled royals started shedding excess baggage post-scandals.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It remains unclear how frequently Andrew is being obliged to bow to his daughters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Last October, King Charles stripped Andrew<\/a> of his Prince title, the Duke of York peerage, and other honours after scrutiny from the Jeffrey Epstein court files, which were released by the US Department of Justice. Andrew has consistently denied any misconduct or wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n On February 19, Andrew\u2019s 66th birthday, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations he shared sensitive information with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein while serving as the UK\u2019s trade envoy. He was released on the same day under investigation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He was also ordered to move house, from his extravagant Royal Lodge<\/a>, to a much smaller property called Marsh Farm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
