Howie Mandel<\/a>‘s apology to Kelly Ripa<\/a>\u00a0is getting feedback from those close with the TV personality.<\/p>\n On Saturday, March 28, Mandel shared a video<\/a> on Instagram and apologized about refusing to accept a compliment from Ripa about his appearance during a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em>.<\/p>\n In his video, he said sometimes “things don’t land the way you mean them to land” as a comedian.<\/p>\n During the March 23 episode of the show, Mandel, 70, claimed that telling someone his age that they \u201clook great\u201d doesn\u2019t \u201cmean anything,\u201d as it comes with the \u201ccaveat\u201d that they merely look good\u00a0for their age.<\/p>\n After Mandel’s public apology days later, a few comedian friends sounded off about the ordeal, with Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em> executive producer Michael Gelman<\/a> also offering a cheeky response.<\/p>\n “During these divided times, one thing we can all agree upon is that you do look great \u2026 for your age,” Gelman commented under Mandel’s video.<\/p>\n
