The couple, married since 1996, now cohost Live with Kelly and Mark<\/em> and share three adult children together<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Mark Consuelos<\/a> is receiving some birthday love from the people closest to him.<\/p>\n On Monday, March 30, in honor of the Riverdale <\/em>alum’s 55th birthday, his wife Kelly Ripa<\/a> and daughter Lola<\/a> shared personal tributes on Instagram to celebrate his special day. The 24-year-old shared a carousel of photos and videos with her dad throughout the years. In the caption, Lola wrote a heartfelt message to her dad, whom she calls her “superhero.”<\/p>\n “Happy birthday to my superhero. You will forever and always be the most important man in my life,” Lola wrote. “I wish more than anything that I were with you today, more than ever this year\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f I LOVE YOU DAD \ud83c\udf80\ud83c\udf80\ud83c\udf80\ud83c\udf80\ud83c\udf80 the coolest Mexican, Italian man to walk this earth!!!!!!!”<\/p>\n Ripa, who co-hosts Live with Kelly and Mark <\/em>with her husband, made a special post of her own, poking fun at Consuelos’ love for “cake and party hats.” In her 10-photo carousel, she shared a mixture of throwback and recent photos of the All My Children<\/em> actor blowing out candles on his birthday.<\/p>\n “Happy birthday @instasuelos<\/a> a man who loves cake and party hats more than most people, and I love you \u2665\ufe0f\ud83c\udf82\u2665\ufe0f\ud83c\udf82” she captioned the post.<\/p>\n Ripa and Consuelos married in May 1996<\/a>, one year after meeting on the soap opera All My Children<\/em><\/a>. The last few decades have been busy ones for the couple<\/a> as they spent them raising their three now-adult children: Michael, 28, Lola, and Joaquin, 23.<\/p>\n In April 2023, Consuelos officially became Ripa’s co-host on Live<\/em>. Before that, the couple talked to PEOPLE about what the show has meant to their family<\/a> over the past 20-plus years.<\/p>\n “Now our children, who are adults, meet people who will come up to them and say, ‘Oh, I’ve watched you grow up. I’m so proud of you.’ And that means something to us,” Ripa said. He lives in Michigan, and he was visiting us. And I said, ‘Do you want to come see Seth tonight?’ And he goes, he goes, ‘No, no, no, I’ll … watch it on the show when it airs,’ ” she recalled.<\/p>\n “And I go, ‘Oh, you’re going to watch?’ And he goes, ‘Well, I watch Seth,’ ” she continued. “So he’s like, ‘I’m not watching for you.
