The actor shared that he is available to make videos for fans via Cameo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the years, I\u2019ve enjoyed connecting with fans and friends through Cameo and at events. Thank you for keeping me young,\u201d he joked in the video. \u201cKeep it up! Class dismissed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniels rose to fame for playing Mark Craig on the drama <em>St. Elsewhere<\/em> from 1982 to 1988. However, his most notable role was as Mr. Feeny on <em>Boy Meets World<\/em>. Daniels starred on the sitcom alongside <strong>Ben Savage<\/strong>, <strong>Danielle Fishel<\/strong>, <strong>Rider Strong<\/strong> and <strong>Will Friedle<\/strong> for seven seasons.<\/p>\n<p>While Mr. Feeny is beloved by Boy Meets World fans, Daniels previously revealed he almost turned down the role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI asked for a meeting [with showrunner Michael Jacobs] because I turned it down and he wanted to know why,\u201d Daniels recalled during a July 2022 appearance on \u201cPod Meets World,\u201d which is hosted by Fishel, Strong and Friedle. \u201cI said \u2018Well, that\u2019s a funny name and I don\u2019t want to make fun of teachers. I respect them and they\u2019re [under]paid and all that.\u2019 Then he told me what my role was based on, which was a mentor of his when he was in high school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cI was afraid [Feeny] would be the butt of the joke, [but then] I realized the plot would be written with respect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since Boy Meets World came to an end in 2000, Daniels has remained close to his costars over the years. The legendary actor already had a 50-year career in Hollywood \u2014 including playing Dustin Hoffman\u2019s father in 1967\u2019s The Graduate and voicing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cJust a little reunion with my favorite students!!\u201d he captioned the group photo.<\/p>\n<p>When Fishel competed on <em>Dancing With the Stars<\/em> season 34 last year, Daniels cheered her on and made a brief cameo in a performance she dedicated to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think I would have been the professional that I am [without William Daniels],\u201d Fishel explained in a confessional. \u201cThis dance is for you, Mr. Feeny.
