Jenny McCarthy<\/strong> is opening up about the devastating health issues that caused her to go through “six months of living hell.”<\/p>\n The former model and TV host, 53, who rose to fame on MTV’s Singled Out<\/em>, is now known for her role as a judge on The Masked Singer<\/a><\/em>. Married to New Kids on the Block alum Donnie Wahlberg<\/strong>, McCarthy has been living her best life… for the most part. But a horrific health issue stemming from \u201can infected root canal\u201d that “wasn’t cleaned out all the way” left McCarthy to go through an absolute nightmare.<\/p>\n In a preview clip published by Us Weekly<\/a><\/em> of the upcoming episode of the \u201cHeal Squad<\/a>\u201d podcast, hosted by Maria Menounos<\/strong>, McCarthy shared how the dental nightmare began.<\/p>\n \u201cThe last time I was here, I was literally on my way to the biological dentist because I had gone through six months of living hell,\u201d she shared, noting that she got a jawbone infection with \u201cthree of these little toxic pools hiding underneath my wisdom teeth.\u201d<\/p>\n To make matters worse, she started to have \u201cgrowths on my eye,\u201d which she describes as looking like the \u201cnastiest whitehead, puss-filled eraser top.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018What the heck is this?\u2019 They\u2019re like you\u2019re not washing your eyes enough. I\u2019m like bulls***,\u201d McCarthy recalled.<\/p>\n Soon, McCarthy’s doctor figured out what the root of her issues was.<\/p>\n “The reason why you\u2019re having constant infections, your body won\u2019t heal, you\u2019re oozing things, is because you have mold. You have mycotoxin poisoning,\u201d her doctor told her, noting that the type of mold she has can cause seizures. \u201cMold releases this toxin in the dust particles, and what happens is most people \u2026 with good immune systems can handle it. People with weaker immune systems, people with leaky gut, candida, things I am already fighting [can \u2019t].\u201d<\/p>\n Because she is antibiotic-resistant, her body couldn’t fight off all those infections, despite taking a laundry list of antibiotics.
