The Challenge<\/i><\/a><\/span>\u2019s Paulie Calafiore<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is ready to shine a light on what led to the end of his romantic relationship with Cara Maria Sorbello<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was tough. You\u2019re dating somebody for seven years. We\u2019re best friends,\u201d Paulie, 37, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> before kicking off his Mic Drop Comedy Tour<\/span><\/a> in San Diego, California, on Friday, June 6. \u201cThis is my best friend. I could not speak any more highly of this person. Now, with every relationship in seven years, there\u2019s going to be ups and downs.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Paulie came out as bisexual<\/span><\/a> in August 2023, the reality star admitted, \u201cThings did change just a little bit.\u201d At the same time, Cara Maria, 39, \u201cunderstood that realm of things.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[There were] just certain viewpoints when it came to things we just didn\u2019t align on,\u201d he claimed. \u201cA lot of those conversations about one day wanting kids and family, those kept coming up, and I just kind of felt like we were at a standstill. I kind of felt like, to me, she was like, \u2018I want family and kids.\u2019 And then randomly, I would see things pop up on a story being like, \u2018I\u2019ll never have kids. I never want this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt\u2019s not uncommon for stars to quickly fall head over heels in love while filming a reality TV show \u2014 and The Challenge\u00a0competitors are no exception. While many fans didn\u2019t think Paulie Calafiore and Cara Maria Sorbello would create a real bond after meeting on Final Reckoning in 2018, but they proved the haters wrong. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Paulie acknowledges his relationship with Cara Maria was public, he assured Us<\/i> that many conversations between the pair were and will always remain private.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody really needs to know the dynamic of it, but we have a really great working relationship,\u201d he told Us <\/i>about their \u201ccordial\u201d status today. \u201cWe\u2019re never not going to be best friends. We\u2019re never not going to be on the same page when it comes to things. As a matter of fact, we\u2019re on the same page at, like, 97 percent of things. It\u2019s just, unfortunately, sometimes that 3 percent are the breaking points. \u2026 I know everybody wants to see the dumpster fire. I know everybody wants to see the fireworks and all that stuff, but there\u2019s a lot of love there on both ends here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regardless of what\u2019s been said \u2014 or not said \u2013 on podcasts, social media and other platforms, Paulie claimed he and Cara Maria are \u201cjust at two different points in our lives, and that\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just have some fundamental differences, and that\u2019s also OK. It\u2019s OK if she doesn\u2019t want to have kids. It\u2019s OK if she just wants to ride horses every day,\u201d he shared. \u201cI wish her all the best, and I\u2019m always gonna have her back if she ever needs something. She knows she can come to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for the people on the Internet still asking<\/span><\/a>, \u201cWhat happened?\u201d Paulie assures fans their split is a classic example of two people naturally growing apart.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were babies when you met us. Now we\u2019re older kids,\u201d he said. \u201cOver time, priorities change, things change and that\u2019s just that. But I wish her all the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

These days Paulie is gearing up his Mic Drop Comedy Tour<\/span>, which includes stops in California, Arizona, Michigan and Texas.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also exploring the dating field with both men and women.<\/p>\n

While the Big Brother<\/i><\/span><\/a> alum is keeping his \u201cwild life\u201d off social media, the reality star admitted there\u2019s \u201cno shortage of d**k pics in the DMs.\u201d<\/p>\n
