Singer, songwriter and now teacher. Noah Kahan<\/a> is adding a new line item to his resume. The musician is the guest star in the latest episode of Celebrity Substitute<\/a><\/em>, which arrives Wednesday (April 1), and Billboard<\/em> has an exclusive sneak peek.<\/p>\n For his appearance on the digital series, Kahan \u2014 whose new album The Great Divide<\/em> arrives April 24 \u2014 takes over a classroom at PS 15, a public elementary school in New York City\u2019s Lower East Side neighborhood. In the exclusive clip shared with Billboard<\/em>, the musician introduces himself to his new students as \u201cMr. Noah\u201d and announces that he\u2019ll be teaching them the \u201cart of storytelling.\u201d But before they start, Mr. Noah has a few burning questions for the class.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAm I chopped?\u201d the singer asks the students.<\/p>\n \u201cYes!\u201d the kids scream back, probably a little too enthusiastically. Luckily for Noah, while they may think he is chopped, they have other thoughts on his \u201cunc\u201d status.<\/p>\n \u201cAm I unc?\u201d the \u201cGreat Divide\u201d singer wonders.<\/p>\n \u201cNo,\u201d the students respond.<\/p>\n \u201cYou look like Jesus,\u201d one student exclaims from the back of the class.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, Jesus is watching you guys today,\u201d Kahan replies. \u201cSo let\u2019s be on our best behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n Past guest stars on Celebrity Substitute<\/em>, which is hosted by Julian Shapiro-Barnum, include A$AP Rocky<\/a> who taught a fourth grade class how to rap<\/a>; Kehlani<\/a>, who gave 8-year-olds a crash course in R&B<\/a>; and Billie Eilish<\/a> and Finneas<\/a>, who wrote a song <\/a>with their students.
