Sunny Hostin<\/a> used Tuesday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe View<\/a>\u201d to slam President Donald Trump<\/a> after he revealed that the U.S. military looks to construct what he described as a \u201cmassive complex<\/a>\u201d under his proposed White House ballroom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Hostin told her co-hosts that it\u2019s \u201cdisconcerting\u201d to see Trump publicly discuss the feature after he told reporters on Sunday that a \u201cstupid lawsuit\u201d filed against him<\/a> to block the estimated $400 million project<\/a> would reveal the information on the underground \u201cshed\u201d anyway.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhy is there a bunker and are all the billionaires now, if something bad happens, going to \u2014 is the plan that all of them going [into] the bunker?\u201d wondered Hostin of the proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Details have previously emerged on the so-called \u201cunderground bunker<\/a>\u201d following the widely criticized East Wing demolition last year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Past administrations utilized the space for decades and, now, it would likely need to be rebuilt and fitted with new technology to equip it for \u201cevolving threats\u201d in the future, celebrity.land reported<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Trump later argued<\/a> that a lawsuit filed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation caused \u201ctop secret\u201d information on the project to leak, adding that stopping the construction at the time would be \u201cdevastating\u201d to the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n On Tuesday, Whoopi Goldberg<\/a> and Sara Haines<\/a> responded to Hostin by asking if she watched the Hulu series \u201cParadise<\/a>,\u201d a post-apocalyptic show that mostly takes place in a massive underground bunker.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Guest host Whitney Cummings chimed in to accuse Trump of telling America\u2019s enemies where the next president will be hiding in a time of crisis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n She suggested that Trump take notes from Dwight D. Eisenhower, the last president to stay at the Greenbrier in West Virginia.
