The Princess Royal\u2019s son Peter Phillips is set to marry fiancee Harriet Sperling at a summer wedding in the Cotswolds, it has been announced.<\/p>\n

The late Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s eldest grandson will tie the knot with NHS nurse Ms Sperling in a private ceremony at All Saints Church in the village of Kemble, Cirencester, in Gloucestershire on Saturday June 6.<\/p>\n

The King and Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales have been informed of the announcement, a spokesman for Mr Phillips confirmed.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The low-key wedding is likely to see the royal family descend on the village for the celebration.<\/p>\n

Both of the couple\u2019s families have been informed of the wedding date by invitation, the spokesman added.<\/p>\n

Mr Phillips, 48, is the King\u2019s nephew, William and the Duke of Sussex\u2019s cousin, the brother of Zara Tindall, and the son of Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips.<\/p>\n

All Saints Church, with its tall spire, sits in the heart of Kemble, with its congregation described as \u201cvery much involved in village life\u201d.<\/p>\n

Mr Phillips lives nearby on his mother\u2019s Gatcombe Park estate in Minchinhampton.<\/p>\n

He split from his first wife Autumn in 2020 after 12 years of marriage and shares custody of their two children, Savannah, 15, and 14-year-old Isla.<\/p>\n

The pair married in a grand royal wedding in St George\u2019s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in 2008.<\/p>\n

Mr Phillips\u2019 engagement to Ms Sperling, who he began dating in 2024, was announced in August last year.<\/p>\n

The couple were guests of Charles and Camilla at Royal Ascot in June, and invited to take part in the traditional carriage procession the royal family make onto the famous Berkshire racecourse to signal the start of the day.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
