OKLAHOMA CITY<\/a> \u2014 Midtown<\/a> Walkabout will return this spring with a full day of shopping, entertainment and family-friendly activities in Midtown Oklahoma City.\n<\/p>\n

The biannual event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., inviting visitors to explore the district while taking advantage of special promotions, live music and interactive experiences throughout the neighborhood.\n<\/p>\n

The event will feature exclusive in-store deals from Midtown merchants, a vendor market along Walker Avenue<\/a> from Park Place to 12th Street and programming hosted by the Midtown Association<\/a> and Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership.<\/p>\n

\u201cMidtown Walkabout<\/a> is a great opportunity for people to spend the day exploring everything Midtown has to offer,\u201d said Jakey Dobbs<\/a>, director of district management. \u201cWhether you\u2019re shopping with local vendors, enjoying live music, or visiting your favorite Midtown businesses, the event is designed to create a fun and memorable experience for visitors of all ages.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Activities include a \u201cDuck, Duck, Goose!\u201d scavenger hunt with prizes, free caricatures and face painting, live music performances and complimentary floral stems for the first 500 guests. Additional features include typewriter poetry by Clarissa Sharp<\/a> through Arts Council OKC<\/a>\u2018s Art Moves program, a curated vendor pop-up at Novel Optical and a food and drink collaboration between The Chalkboard Kitchen + Bar and Nebu.\n<\/p>\n

Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> entertainers are also scheduled to appear at the McNellie\u2019s OKC<\/a> patio from 2 to 2:15 p.m.<\/p>\n
