She may be our favourite sustainable royal fashionista, but did you know, as well as her passion for an ethical sartorial portfolio, Lady Amelia Windsor<\/a> also has a penchant for a tattoo.<\/p>\n Last week, while being a vision in pink for a night with Flabelus, Lady Amelia shared a glimpse of her striking tiger tattoo\u00a0<\/a>on her back as she gave fans a twirl in her stunning pink corset top and flowing patterned skirt, complete with a pair of the luxury brand’s classic pumps in pink.\u00a0<\/p>\n As she spun around, the tiger could be seen on her left shoulder as she made the most of her elegant surroundings.<\/p>\n “More from magical Madrid with @flabelus<\/a>,” she penned in the caption alongside a fan, pink heart and ballet shoes emoji.\u00a0<\/p>\n Amelia’s ballerina-inspired look went down a treat with friends and fans who were quick to take to the comments with messages for the royal. “Love the antique pink velvet!” one penned.\u00a0<\/p>\n A second added: “Loved this outfit.” Meanwhile, a third penned: “This outfit, alongside three heart eyes emojis.<\/p>\n As for her fabulous inkings, the tiger isn’t the only tattoo on the 30-year-old’s roster. On both her forearms, Amelia also has a collection of elegant images as well as a subtle design on her ribcage.<\/p>\n Back in 2022, HELLO! chatted to Claudio Traina, celebrity tattooist and founder of Sixty Ink,<\/a> about Amelia’s bold choice in tattoos.<\/p>\n “Lady Amelia Windsor is bold in her tattoos. Although the one on her ribcage is the second most common place for a hidden private tattoo and is even classified as one of the most painful body parts to get inked.”<\/p>\n Claudio continued to break down the possible meaning behind Lady Amelia’s tattoos: “Tattoo meanings are down to the individual; however, tigers are meant to symbolise power and strength, freedom and independence. Perhaps this is in keeping with Lady Amelia not conforming to royal norms and having a bold and unhindered tattoo- signifying her freedom to do as she chooses.”<\/p>\n “The trend [for royals] seems to be for smaller tattoos in hidden places. I imagine it\u2019s probably still not easy for them to have tattoos in visible areas, and in my opinion, this is because in certain groups of society, tattoos are still not fully accepted.”<\/p>\n He said: “Hopefully this is starting to change though and as we see with Princess Eugenie<\/a> and Lady Amelia – maybe they will pave the way for other younger royals to get less discreet tattoos which would send a powerful message to the population.
